International Architecture competition for a Monument on the Place Duca d’Aosta. The sign project is set on a marble base from Carrara. From this base a strong multicolor beam of light shines up from it. The site of the work is marked by impressive buildings such as the main, railwaystation, the skyscraper Pirelli, the Hotel Gallia. The sculpture of light fits in this context, in respect of view and without beeing invasive. The choice of using light insteed of materials has the advantage of not requiring cleaning. The seven beams match the Newton seven colors.
